Kellis Smellis resides in Needles, California, living the dream, which has been writing original music and having some space to record.  This is basically the only thing he has ever wanted to do.  He doesn't "only do this only," like Daniel Johnston wrote in "The Story of an Artist," but he may "seem a little odd." Kellis has always had the support of his family, but he definitely relates himself to Daniel, because he always feels a pressure whispering he needs to grow up and quit.  But if there is an elephant in the room, they are only good for their Ivory, right?  And like Mother Theresa said, "do it anyway!"  Thanks for stopping by and checking out the site!
